Welcome to ELC! I’m Pastor Drahus. My name may seem a bit strange—it is Slovak, just like me. I was born and raised in Slovakia. People call me Drahus (Dra-Hoosh). Though I’m Slovak, I have spent a great deal of time in the U.S. I came to serve as a counselor for the summer months at Camp Nawakwa in Arendtsville, PA. During my first summer at Camp Nawakwa, I met my wife, Andrea, who grew up here in Waynesboro. We’ve been serving at ELC for 14 years now, and it has been an exciting journey filled with great friends, growing ministries, and many wonderful memories. Our hearts are filled with joy when we witness our members growing closer to God, closer to one another, as well as closer to the world, reaching out with the Good News of Jesus Christ. In our free time, we enjoy the outdoors: backpacking, hiking, and camping. (And I am a big fly fisherman). We love the caring and hopeful people of ELC. We feel truly blessed to be a part of this wonderful community of faith and are always excited to welcome new friends. I am deeply grateful and joyful to see people in many different places on their spiritual journey coming together to experience the love and grace of God. I’m looking forward to seeing you sometime!

Hello! My name is Pastor Rosalie and I am SO excited you are here! I was born and raised about two hours from Waynesboro in Wernersville/Robesonia PA, where several of my family members continue to reside. I spent a few years in Mechanicsburg, PA while attending Messiah University before heading to snowy St Paul, Minnesota to study at Luther Seminary. My pastoral internship year occurred in yet another state, where I enjoyed the Rocky Mountains near Loveland, Colorado. Now, back in PA and settled in Waynesboro, I am thrilled for the ministry of ELC and all the ways we can grow in faith together! When I am not diving into church work, you can find me enjoying God’s creation (especially at Camp Kirchenwald where I spent many years on staff), playing the guitar or ukulele, knitting and crocheting, or snuggled on the couch with my very particular little cat Nux (pronounced ‘nooks’). I’m looking forward to connecting with you soon!
