Advent is a season of anticipation and preparation for the coming of the Savior. The church is beautifully decorated for the Christmas celebration. We are saddened that we are unable to gather in-person this Christmas, but please join us virtually on FaceBook Live at 6:00 PM Christmas Eve to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ.
Lent is a season of solemn preparation. On Ash Wednesday we start with imposition of ashes. Each Wednesday evening we gather for beautiful Holden Evening Prayer Service. During Holy Week we have several worship services that remember Jesus’ triumphant entry to Jerusalem, his last supper, death on the cross and his resurrection on Easter morning.
Season of Pentecost is our longest liturgical season that continues through most of the summer and fall. On Pentecost we remember the sending of the Holy Spirit on the disciples which dates the beginning of Christian church. During this time we celebrate several special Sundays, like Holy Trinity Sunday, Reformation Sunday, All Saint’s Sunday and Christ the King Sunday.
